Our goal is simple, to make Free and Open Source Software known and used in Uganda and beyond.

Our mission, to advocate for, train in and train with and consult in Free and Open source software.

The objective of COSS is to promote the growth and nationalization of open source businesses, and catalyze the development of the Ugandan information society with the support of open source technologies and communities.

Free and Open Source Software is about Freedom.
